2. Membership

  • Types of Memberships: We offer Lifetime Family/Individual Memberships, Annual Family Memberships, and Annual Individual Memberships. Memberships provide access to discounts and exclusive events.
  • Membership Fees: All membership fees must be paid upfront. Fees are non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances as determined by the board.
  • Membership Renewal: Annual memberships are valid until December 31st of the year and must be renewed to maintain benefits for the following year.

3. Events

  • Registration: Members and non-members may register for events online. Registration is required to participate in most events.
  • Cancellation: South Florida Tamil Sangam reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events due to unforeseen circumstances. If an event is canceled, registered participants will be notified, and refunds will be processed if applicable.
  • Code of Conduct: Participants are expected to behave respectfully and follow the instructions of event organizers. We reserve the right to remove any participant violating the code of conduct.

4. Payments and Refunds

  • Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit card, debit card, and other online payment methods.
  • Refunds: Membership fees are generally non-refundable. Event cancellations or withdrawals may be eligible for refunds on a case-by-case basis.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the South Florida Tamil Sangam website, including logos, images, and text, is the intellectual property of South Florida Tamil Sangam. Unauthorized use or reproduction of any content is prohibited.

6. Limitation of Liability

South Florida Tamil Sangam is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from participation in our events or use of our website. Participation in events is voluntary, and we are not responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur.

7. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the courts of Florida.

Youth & Community Initiatives

We are committed to empowering our community through meaningful programs that focus on service, education, skill development, and youth engagement.

Community Service Projects

We organize community service initiatives such as beach clean-ups and local environmental drives, encouraging youth to give back to society while developing a sense of responsibility, teamwork, and civic pride. These projects help our members make a positive impact while building leadership and service values.

Tutoring & Academic Support

Our tutoring programs are designed primarily to support high school students in their academic journey. By connecting students with knowledgeable tutors, we help strengthen core subjects, improve confidence, and guide students toward academic success.

SAT Preparation Support

To further support college readiness, we bring together qualified tutors from colleges and India to provide focused SAT preparation for high school students. These sessions offer structured guidance, practice strategies, and personalized support to help students achieve their best potential.

Workshops for Life & Daily Skills

We conduct interactive workshops that focus on essential daily and life skills such as communication, leadership, time management, financial basics, and career awareness. These workshops are aimed at preparing youth for real-world challenges beyond academics.

Youth Socials & Networking

We host social gatherings and youth-focused get-togethers to create a welcoming and engaging environment for high school students. These events encourage participation, build friendships, and help youth connect with mentors and peers while learning about the benefits of being actively involved in our community.

Leadership Development

We actively encourage youth participation through a variety of cultural, educational, and leadership-focused activities. These opportunities allow students to take initiative, develop essential life skills, and grow as future leaders while staying connected to the community.
